Job Title: SDET Fullstack Automation Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 3-5 Years
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled SDET Fullstack Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of proven experience in automation testing for both web and backend applications. You should be proficient in Typescript, JavaScript, and Cypress, with hands-on experience in API testing and automation frameworks. If you have experience with Java, Playwright, or RestAssured and a solid understanding of CI/CD processes, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated tests for web and backend applications using Cypress and Playwright.
Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured to validate functionality, security, and performance.
Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks for both frontend and backend.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality of new features and releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across different application layers.
Write basic SQL queries to validate data and ensure database integrity.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices.
Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth delivery of features.
Required Skills:
3-5 years of experience in automation testing for web and backend applications.
Expertise in Typescript and JavaScript.
Strong experience with Cypress for frontend automation.
Solid experience with RestAssured for API testing.
Familiarity with Java and Playwright is a plus.
Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks (e.g., Protractor, Cypress).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with trading applications or core financial services is a big plus.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience in working with financial services applications.
Experience with any other test automation frameworks or languages.
