About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical foundation, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience in backend development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.
Build robust backend systems including databases, APIs, and server-side logic.
Develop efficient and scalable solutions for retail software modules such as Product, Order, Shipment, and Customer Engagement.
Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
Implement security best practices and monitor performance.
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow Git workflows.
(Preferred) Mentor and guide junior developers when required.
Required Technical Skills
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript
Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Version Control: Git
Preferred Knowledge (Nice to Have)
Docker
Redis
CI/CD Pipelines
Microservices Architecture
Experience with React.js alongside NestJS
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Solid problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Knowledge of authentication and backend security best practices.
Experience working with Agile teams is a plus.
Ability to manage tasks independently and contribute to team success.
