About the Role
About Solar Earth:
Solar Earth is a leading provider of sustainable solar energy solutions across India and Australia. As we grow our digital presence, we’re looking for a skilled Frontend Developer who can help us bring our vision to life through modern, responsive, and high-performing websites built on WordPress and Shopify.
Your Role at Solar Earth:
Convert Figma designs into responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify
Build and customize themes, templates, and plugins to match business needs
Ensure mobile responsiveness, SEO-friendly structure, and fast loading times
Work closely with our marketing and design teams to roll out new features and updates
Apply Shopify Liquid and WordPress PHP customizations as needed
Handle day-to-day maintenance and performance optimization tasks
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with WordPress and Shopify (compulsory)
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Strong experience developing custom themes from scratch
Ability to accurately convert Figma/UI designs into clean code
Solid understanding of Shopify Liquid, WordPress theme architecture, and custom post types
Knowledge of website speed optimization and SEO best practices
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with animation libraries like GSAP, ScrollTrigger
Exposure to WooCommerce and Shopify Plus
Understanding of Headless CMS and API-based architecture
