Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer - Backend at Grape Technology. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for back-end development, software deployment and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
Qualifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2-3 years of Experience with designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable applications
Experience in developing performance-critical applications that run in a production environment using NodeJS, python.
Good understanding of data structures and algorithm
Familiarity with databases (e.g. CouchDB. Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB)
Experience working with container technologies like Docker and knowledge of CI/CD processes for automated integration and deployment
Experience with Kubernetes cluster setup, deployment
Understanding of RESTful APIs and API gateways
Understanding of Micro services based Architecture
Queueing system experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ).
Understanding of version control systems such as GIT, bitbucket
Basic understanding of Unix commands and environments
Knowledge on blockchain technology (optional)
