About BlackX Sell:
BlackX Sell is a powerful AI-driven sales and retail automation platform under the BlackX ecosystem. It helps businesses manage everything from inventory and in-store sales to online orders, analytics, and customer behavior tracking. We are transforming how local businesses sell and scale.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer (5+ years) to join our team on a part-time, on-demand basis. You will play a key role in scaling and optimizing our platform using modern web technologies and frameworks. This is a remote and flexible opportunity ideal for seasoned developers who want to contribute meaningfully without full-time commitment.
Responsibilities:
Lead development and enhancements of core modules on BlackX Sell
Build robust APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
Design scalable backend systems and seamless frontend experiences
Troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and improve performance
Collaborate with the team on sprint-based deliverables
Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code
Contribute ideas to improve system architecture and code quality
Tech Stack:
Backend: Django, Python, Django REST Framework (DRF)
Frontend: JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, Bootstrap
Optional / Bonus: AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, SES, RDS)
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in web development
Deep expertise in Django and Django REST Framework
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and database modeling
Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Proven track record of building scalable systems and APIs
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in remote environments
Willingness to work 2–4 hours daily on an on-demand basis
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, SES, RDS, EB)
Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows
Prior experience in building e-commerce or B2B SaaS products
