Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
8-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Automation Testing, API Testing, and Performance Testing across various platforms and applications.
Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining manual test cases, as applicable.
Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases for RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Perform end-to-end performance testing on Liferay-based applications, leveraging tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to assess system scalability, performance, and load capacity, ensuring the application performs optimally under varying traffic conditions.
Proficient in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ensuring efficient and timely execution of automated tests in every development cycle.
Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution, ensuring maximum test coverage for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) for efficient collaboration and issue tracking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the test automation environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a proven ability to create detailed test reports and communicate test results effectively to stakeholders.
