About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our team in Bagalkot, Karnataka. This is a full-time on-site role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the MERN stack, a solid understanding of SQL databases, and familiarity with Sequelize ORM.
Fluent Kannada conversational skills are an absolute must-have for this role. You'll be working closely with local teams and clients, so the ability to communicate effectively in Kannada is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
Integrate and manage SQL databases and work with Sequelize ORM
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality products
Write clean, modular, and reusable code
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimizing applications for maximum performance
Communicate effectively with Kannada-speaking team members and local stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in MERN stack development
Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with Sequelize ORM
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Fluency in Kannada – must be able to speak, read, and write
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Basic understanding of deployment and DevOps practices
