Role Overview
As a PHP Developer Intern at iTUX, you will work closely with our development team to build and maintain backend systems for dynamic web applications. You will gain real-world exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Core PHP
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code
Work with MySQL for database integration and optimization
Collaborate with frontend developers to connect APIs and ensure seamless integration
Debug issues, conduct performance tuning, and ensure code quality
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Mandatory Skills
Core PHP – Strong understanding of syntax, functions, and object-oriented programming
MySQL – Ability to design, query, and manage relational databases
HTML, CSS, JavaScript – Basic working knowledge for integration with backend
Understanding of form handling, sessions, and error management in PHP
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have)
PHP Frameworks (like Laravel or CodeIgniter) – Exposure to MVC architecture
REST APIs – Basic understanding of API integration and JSON handling
Git – Familiarity with version control and collaborative workflows
Ajax/jQuery – Bonus for smoother frontend interactions
