The AEM Specialist role will support the organization's digital transformation strategy by managing and optimizing our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. You will collaborate across multiple teams including marketing, content, and development to ensure the efficient operation and enhancement of our web ecosystems. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in AEM to develop robust, scalable, and dynamic web applications and experiences that support both internal and external digital marketing efforts. You will be integral in managing the AEM infrastructure, developing components, templates, and workflows, as well as ensuring best practices in content management processes and security standards.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Manage and optimize AEM infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM with other tools and platforms
Lead efforts to enhance user experience and web content management processes
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
Drive the adoption of digital standards and best practices within AEM environments
Provide technical guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on AEM capabilities and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM implementations
Architect, design, and implement AEM-based structures to support web content management for global digital products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and effectiveness.
Optimize the performance and stability of AEM instances, manage content workflows, and improve authoring experiences, while reducing costs.
Lead the integration of AEM with other marketing technology stack components such as analytics, marketing automation, and CRM platforms
Participate in product and department communication and project management process
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or in lieu of degree 6 years of IT experience
4-6 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in a development or operational role.
Proven experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing AEM environments for large-scale digital platforms.
Familiarity with AEM integration with other digital marketing technologies such as analytics, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
Experience with CI/CD practices and deployment strategies in AEM contexts.
In-depth knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and workflows.
Strong understanding of AEM setup, configuration, and administration, including dispatcher configuration and caching strategies.
Proficiency in AEM authoring and publishing mechanisms, as well as content versioning and replication.
Skilled in developing AEM applications using Adobe’s HTL/Sightly, Java, and JavaScript frameworks.
