Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between server and client.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application performance.
Implement robust security and data protection measures.
Write and maintain clear, scalable, and reusable code.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate on technical solutions.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js frameworks (like Express or Koa).
Knowledge of API development and integration.
Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Experience with unit testing and debugging using tools like Mocha or Jest.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue).
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
