Job Description:
We are looking for a Shopify Full Stack Developer with a strong technical background and a passion for eCommerce development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Remix, Hydrogen, Liquid, and Shopify platforms, along with a strong command of JavaScript and related technologies.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify stores, integrations, and applications that provide seamless user experiences and robust functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Shopify eCommerce solutions using Shopify's Liquid templating language and custom apps built on Hydrogen.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Work with JavaScript frameworks (React/Next.js) and ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.
Optimize performance for both Shopify stores and custom apps, focusing on speed, scalability, and user experience.
Regularly update and improve the UI/UX of the store, aligning with best practices in web design.
Ensure the security and performance of the application while maintaining a responsive and mobile-friendly design.
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, with a focus on Remix, Hydrogen, Liquid, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of Shopify Plus and other advanced Shopify features.
Proficient in React.js, Next.js, or other JavaScript-based frameworks.
Experience with API integrations, especially within the Shopify ecosystem (REST and GraphQL).
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Good understanding of UX/UI principles, with a focus on creating user-centric designs.
Excellent communication skills—ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Shopify App Development and custom app creation using Hydrogen.
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud services.
Experience with third-party services like Zapier, ShipHero, etc.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for deploying Shopify solutions.
