About the Role - We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to help build and maintain products built on the Blackbaud Infinity platform using the .NET stack. You will work closely with the Senior Principal Engineer and other team members to develop and enhance platform features, optimize code, and deliver high-quality solutions. This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while continuing to grow your skills in a fast-paced, cloud-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain features on the Blackbaud Infinity platform
Collaborate with the Senior Principal Engineer to support architecture and system improvements
Work with a cross-functional team to ensure project goals are met and features are delivered on time
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, improving platform stability and performance
Contribute to the ongoing modernization of the platform, especially in the areas of cloud services and infrastructure (Azure)
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
Stay updated on the latest .NET technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team
Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, etc.). Experience working with Azure cloud services is highly desired. Solid understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented principles, and best coding practices. Knowledge of modern development tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a desire to continuously improve. Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities. Ability to deliver software that meets consistent standards of quality, security, and operability.
