About the Role

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Developer to join our IT team to support, enhance, and develop applications within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.2. This role requires a technically proficient developer who is also comfortable with functional analysis, particularly in the Supply Chain and Finance modules. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, code and customize applications, resolve data issues, and contribute to our digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Development & Customization: Design, develop, and implement custom applications, reports, and orchestrations in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne version 9.2 using JDE tools such as Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), and Orchestrator.
Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify user stories, and provide technical guidance, especially within Supply Chain and Finance domains.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JDE data tables, file structures, and business functions. Analyze and address data inconsistencies and performance bottlenecks within the ERP environment.
Technical Support & Documentation: Provide technical support to users, maintain development documentation, and ensure all customizations are thoroughly documented to support upgrades and future changes.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform and oversee unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for JDE developments. Ensure solutions meet both technical and functional requirements.
System Optimization: Recommend improvements and best practices in JDE processes, focusing on maintaining system integrity and optimizing performance without impacting future upgrades.
Training & User Guidance: Assist in training users on JDE functionalities and process changes, ensuring non-technical stakeholders can leverage ERP tools effectively.


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Between 6-12 years of experience as a JD Edwards Developer, specifically with EnterpriseOne version 9.2 with JDE Orchestration Development.
Strong hands-on experience in JDE development tools, including Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), Table Design Aid (TDA), Named Event Rules (NER), Business Functions (BSFN), and Orchestrator.
Experience in Supply Chain and Finance modules, including customizations in areas like Procurement, Sales Order Management, Inventory, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).

Technical Skills:
Proficient in JDE EnterpriseOne programming, SQL, and understanding of JD Edwards data structures, file configurations, and debugging tools.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques within JD Edwards applications.
Knowledge of development best practices to ensure minimal impact on future JDE upgrades.

Functional Skills:
Ability to understand and interpret functional requirements, clarify business needs, and bridge technical and functional perspectives.
Experience troubleshooting issues across Supply Chain and Finance processes and guiding users on effective ERP solutions.

Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and explain complex information to non-technical users.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain-focused organization.
Familiarity with other ERP and CRM integrations, reporting tools, and any experience with PowerBI or similar analytics platforms.
Certifications in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development or related ERP systems are a plus.
