Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Java Servlet Developer. The Java Servlet Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing Java-based applications, developing and maintaining microservices, writing high-quality code using Java and the Spring Framework, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Java EE, Springboot, Java Servlets, and JDBC.
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
Experience with Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere application servers.
Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end integration.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML processing.
Experience with Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Spring Boot and Java Servlet.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
