About KhetiConnect:
KhetiConnect is a revolutionary Agri-Tech platform empowering Indian farmers with access to advanced farming tools, equipment rentals, a local marketplace, crop and soil testing services, and much more. We aim to transform traditional farming practices into modern, efficient, and sustainable operations.
We’re seeking a Freelance React Native Developer to help us build and enhance our mobile application, ensuring a seamless experience for farmers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain the KhetiConnect mobile application using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
Collaborate with the product and backend teams to implement features such as:
Agri equipment rental and booking systems.
Real-time weather updates and Mandi prices.
Community groups and feeds for farmers.
Carbon credit transactions and other innovative functionalities.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices.
Debug and optimize the app for performance and responsiveness, even in low-bandwidth conditions.
Integrate APIs for platform functionalities like location services, payment systems, and push notifications.
Ensure smooth deployment of apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a React Native Developer, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Redux, Context API, and React Native libraries.
Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and Gradle.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to write unit tests using Jest, Detox, or similar tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team.
