About the Role
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with solid experience in .NET Core and microservices architecture to support the modernization of an existing legacy application. This is a hands-on development role, ideal for someone who enjoys refactoring monolithic applications into microservices, writing clean and scalable code, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the transformation of a complex legacy application into a cutting-edge, cloud-ready microservices architecture using .NET Core
Deliver high-quality features by writing clean, scalable, and high-performance code from the ground up
Drive the migration from monolithic to modular services, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption
Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to shape technical solutions from requirements to release
Design and implement RESTful APIs and seamlessly integrate with third-party platforms and services
Ensure microservices are built for scale, performance, and security, following modern development best practices
Contribute to building a resilient system with testable, maintainable, and well-documented code
Deploy, manage, and monitor services in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using modern DevOps tools
Debug and resolve complex issues across distributed systems with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
Participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and help raise the overall code quality and team performance
Partner with DevOps engineers to enable robust CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and zero-downtime releases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus)
6+ years of hands-on experience in software development using .NET / C#
Strong expertise in .NET Core for backend development and API design
Proven experience in modernizing legacy applications and building microservices-based architecture
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, integration, and best practices
Proficient in working with SQL Server and understanding of data modeling concepts
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes or other orchestration tools
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, clean architecture, and design patterns
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across distributed systems
Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a strong plus
Experience with unit testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
