Overall Platform Lead - Silicon Software
Overview:
As the Overall Platform Lead - Silicon Software for AI Server development, you will be integral in driving
the entire product lifecycle while collaborating with a top-tier team. You should possess a deep
understanding of the product development cycle, system software architecture, and the ability to design
complex solutions and resolve intricate system issues. Your technical expertise should span across
Firmware, Device Drivers, AI Software, and the application software stack. You will be expected to
develop solutions that address both technical and business requirements, with a strong focus on
efficient execution.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead the software development projects for AI Server, ensuring efficient use of timelines,
budgets, and resources.
Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance for all software development initiatives.
Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing engineering team to deliver on-time with high
quality.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture and Operations teams to ensure
high quality project delivery.
Offer hands-on support in software development, debugging, performance optimization, and
systems integration to overcome technical challenges and enhance platform performance.
Bring in a culture of innovation and efficiency improvement by implementing best practices
Identify and address technical risks to ensure strong security, compliance with processes, and
operational effectiveness.
Work closely with Architects to define the pre-silicon and post-silicon development
methodology for complete system software development
Advocates open source software, re-usability and scalability
Skills:
Proven experience leading large-scale software development projects.
In-depth knowledge of the Embedded software engineering ecosystem, development
frameworks, and related toolchains.
Broad knowledge of AI Software stack for Server class products
Strong background in programming languages for embedded firmware and systems (e.g., C).
Expected excellent Technical Leadership skills and ability to technically guide the team
Should have handled or managed Critical Technical task forces in areas of System issues, PnP
Should have sound experience in defining and driving debug Strategies for Hardware/Silicon
Power On
Complex Technical Problem solving in the area of stress and stability, power and performance
and System KPI’s
Education & Experience:
BTech/MTech in Computer Science or Equivalent degree
