Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as developing server-side logic. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project planning and execution
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks/libraries such as Express.js
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API design
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration with server-side logic
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
