Job Overview:
Talent Skull is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineering Mentor to guide and train aspiring DevOps professionals. The mentor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, offering career guidance, and helping learners develop practical skills required in the industry.
Role Overview:
As a DevOps Trainer, you will leverage your 8+ years of industry expertise to teach DevOps tools, techniques, and methodologies. You will develop a comprehensive curriculum, deliver hands-on sessions, and mentor learners to build job-ready skills in DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop structured training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and hands-on lab exercises.
Update the curriculum to reflect the latest DevOps trends and tools.
Training Delivery:
Conduct live training sessions and workshops on core DevOps topics such as:
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Ensure an engaging learning experience with practical, real-world examples.
Mentorship and Support:
Guide learners through practical exercises, real-world projects, and certification preparation.
Provide one-on-one mentorship to address learners' queries and challenges.
Collaboration and Feedback:
Work closely with the content development team to improve course quality.
Collect feedback from learners to refine training delivery and materials.
Qualifications:
Experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering.
Proven experience in training, mentoring, or teaching DevOps concepts.
Technical Expertise:
Strong command of DevOps tools and practices, including:
Version Control: Git/GitHub
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
IaC: Terraform, Ansible
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent is highly preferred.
Skills:
