About the Role
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems using PHP/Laravel.
Lead the development of new features, APIs, and services, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, QA, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing application performance and stability.
Implement security best practices, ensuring data protection and compliance.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise and promoting knowledge sharing.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improving code quality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Laravel ecosystem developments.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge bases.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel.
In-depth knowledge of Laravel framework, its ecosystem, and packages (e.g., Eloquent, Validation, Routing).
Proficiency in PHP 7.x/8.x, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and API security.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Vue.js).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and analytical thinking.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
Strong attention to detail, code quality, and testing (unit, integration, and functional).
