Role: Software Engineer (Sitecore & .NET)
Role Proficiency:
Independently develops high-quality, error-free code while guiding junior developers and supporting Lead Software Engineers in technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize applications/components per user requirements.
Debug, test, document, and ensure code quality adherence.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and implement solutions.
Contribute to technical design, configuration, and release management.
Key Measures of Success:
Adherence to coding standards and project timelines.
Reduction in defects and reoccurrence of known issues.
Efficient debugging and resolution of production bugs.
Creation of reusable components and contribution to knowledge bases.
Required Skills & Experience:
4-6 years of experience in Sitecore and .NET development.
Expertise in Sitecore templates, renderings, API, item-mapping, multilingual & multi-site configurations.
Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, REST services.
Experience with source control (TFS/GIT) and Azure (preferred).
Hands-on experience with Solr/Lucene/Coveo, XDB, Sitecore Analytics (preferred).
Familiarity with TDD/BDD testing practices (a plus).
Additional Responsibilities:
Develop reusable templates and components across platforms.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Own specific modules like search, authentication, and indexing.
Work closely with Tech Leads and Architects to implement solutions.
