ServiceNow Developer - GRC

Roles and Responsibilities:

✅ Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform specifically for the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) module
✅ Customize and configure GRC applications including Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management
✅ Integrate ServiceNow GRC with other enterprise platforms and third-party systems to streamline data flow and reporting
✅ Create and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and data policies for GRC use cases
✅ Work closely with business stakeholders and process owners to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
✅ Implement dashboards, reports, and real-time monitoring tools for GRC metrics and KPIs
✅ Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and ensure high-quality deliverables
✅ Perform upgrades, patches, and application maintenance to ensure GRC functionality remains compatible with the latest ServiceNow releases
✅ Follow best practices in coding, design, security, and performance optimization for the ServiceNow GRC module
✅ Provide production support, resolve incidents, and deliver enhancements as needed for continuous GRC improvements
✅ Document technical solutions, create SOPs, and maintain a knowledge base for GRC configurations and customizations
✅ Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that the ServiceNow GRC implementation aligns with regulatory and organizational policies


Key Mandate Skills:

✅ Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow GRC module (Policy & Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Vendor Risk)
✅ Expertise in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies used within the ServiceNow ecosystem
✅ Deep understanding of GRC frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, and GDPR
✅ Familiarity with ServiceNow platform capabilities including Flow Designer, Service Catalog, CMDB, ACLs, and
MID Server integrations.
✅ Experience with data modeling and relationship mapping within GRC
✅ Proficiency in developing custom applications and modules within ServiceNow
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

✅ 4+ years of experience working specifically with ServiceNow GRC module
✅ ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC or other relevant certifications
✅ Prior experience in implementing GRC solutions for mid to large enterprises
✅ Background in IT Risk Management, Compliance, or Internal Audit functions
✅ Exposure to Agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
