About the Role
Systems Engineer | On-site | Bengaluru
SkyServe is an "Insights-as-a-Service" edge computing platform onboard satellites, enabling real-time intelligence for industries, system integrators, and geospatial developers.
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru and help shape the future of autonomous satellite observation.
What You’ll Do:
Design & Develop cutting-edge edge computing systems for satellites.
Collaborate with engineers across hardware, software, and networking to define system requirements and architecture.
Analyze & Optimize system performance through trade studies and functional analysis.
Integrate & Test autonomous observation systems to ensure reliability in space environments.
Innovate & Solve challenges in real-time data processing, edge computing, and satellite operations.
Engage with external partners and stay ahead of industry advancements.
Document & Present technical insights to stakeholders.
What You Bring:
1-2 years of experience in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or similar.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, modeling, and simulation (Python preferred).
Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or real-time processing is a plus.
Familiarity with satellite systems (payloads, communication, onboard processing) is a bonus.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills to convey technical ideas effectively.
