Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java development, experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, and a basic understanding of Python. You will work on developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Implement best coding practices to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.
Work with Python scripts (basic level) for automation, data processing, or backend services.
Stay updated with the latest Java frameworks and technologies.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Java (Core Java, Java 8/11+)
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.)
Microservices architecture and API development
Database management (SQL and NoSQL)
Basic knowledge of Python for scripting or automation
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of React/Angular for frontend development
Experience in message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Exposure to Machine Learning/AI (if Python is used in data-related tasks)
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Relevant certifications (Java, AWS, Kubernetes) are a plus
