Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer
Location: Gurugram
Experience: 5–7 Years
Industry: AI SaaS Product
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Develop: Architect and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
Database Management: Manage and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient performance.
API Integration: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs; experience with GraphQL is a plus.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
Code Reviews & Best Practices: Conduct peer code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
Collaboration: Work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps for seamless integration and delivery.
Troubleshooting: Identify and fix bugs, improve system reliability, and ensure backend stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5-7 years of backend development experience.
Proficiency in backend programming languages: Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Strong experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous.
Solid grasp of microservices architecture and related frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
Understanding of backend security practices, including authentication and data protection.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Exposure to agile methodologies and fast-paced development cycles.
Experience in leading backend modules or mentoring developers.
