What You'll Do
As a Back-End Developer at VinnovateLabz, you will:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable server-side applications and APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to integrate user-facing elements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development standards.
Learn and work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Support debugging, testing, and optimization of applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and stand-ups.
Stay updated with the latest back-end technologies, tools, and best practices.
Key Skills We're Looking For
Strong understanding of at least one back-end programming language: Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java, or PHP.
Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and how they integrate with front-end components.
Familiarity with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of basic data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
Nice-to-Haves (but not mandatory)
Experience working on personal or academic projects.
Exposure to cloud services like AWS, Firebase, or Heroku.
Awareness of Agile development methodologies.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Fresh graduates or final-year students with internship experience/projects are welcome.
