About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Azure Consultant with a strong background in Infrastructure services and a growing expertise in Data & AI capabilities within Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should be able to engage in technical discussions, solution designing, and implementation for both IaaS and PaaS workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Azure Infrastructure solutions including Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitor.
Support hybrid environments involving Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and on-prem connectivity using VPN/ExpressRoute.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deploy Data & AI solutions using services such as:
Azure Foundry
Azure Data Factory
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Databricks
Microsoft Fabric
Power BI (embedded and service-based)
Perform infrastructure and data environment assessments and make architecture recommendations.
Implement and maintain automation using Azure Bicep/ARM templates or Terraform.
Provide technical consulting and pre-sales support for customer engagements.
Ensure security best practices using Azure Policy, RBAC, and Defender for Cloud.
Participate in proof of concept (PoC) development and client workshops.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure services.
Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS, including networking, compute, storage, and monitoring.
Experience working with Azure Data & AI services (ADF, Synapse, ML, Cognitive Services).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric with expertise in Microsoft Purview Knowledge
Working knowledge of Azure Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or CLI).
Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and security.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (a plus)
