About the Role
Key Responsibilities / Activities
Architect and build production-grade Python microservices using FastAPI and package them with Poetry.
Design and implement LLM workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and integrate with various LLM
platforms including OpenAI, Bedrock, and Hugging Face.
Work with Hugging Face Transformers for fine-tuning, inference, and integration into real-world
applications.
Leverage AWS Services Including
Lambda for serverless compute tasks
Step Functions for orchestration of AI/ETL pipelines
SageMaker for model training, deployment, and hosting
Bedrock for seamless access to foundation models
Build containerized services and deploy them using AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2).
Work with data layers including MySQL, ElasticSearch, and Vector Databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate,
Pinecone).
Utilize DuckDB for in-process analytics and high-performance local querying (a strong plus).
Define and enforce development standards, code quality, and best practices across the Python team.Page 2 of 2

Mentor junior developers and serve as the technical go-to expert for anything Python-related at OvalEdge.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features from concept to production.
Required Skillset
5+ years of experience in Python development with strong backend or microservices expertise.
Proficiency with LangChain, LangGraph, and LLM-based application development.
Strong working knowledge of Hugging Face models and deployment/inference strategies.
Deep experience building and scaling APIs using FastAPI.
Experience deploying and managing containers on AWS ECS.
Practical experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
Strong understanding of MySQL, Elasticsearch, and vector databases.
Experience using Poetry for managing dependencies and packaging.
Familiarity with observability, performance tuning, and debugging Python microservices in
production.
Knowledge of DuckDB is a bonus.
Preferred Qualities
Prior experience in a technical leadership or SME role.
Ability to take initiative and own solutions from concept to deployment.
Passion for AI/LLM tech and eagerness to stay on top of emerging trends.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
