Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows in Snowflake.
Design and implement Snowflake database objects (schemas, tables, views, etc.).
Integrate Snowflake with various data sources using tools like Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or custom scripts.
Optimize Snowflake performance by tuning queries, managing clustering, and implementing best practices.
Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
Monitor data quality and ensure the reliability and accuracy of data stored in Snowflake.
Automate deployment and CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake code using Git and other tools.
Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends to continuously improve the data platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3–5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
