About BeFiSc
BeFiSc is a fast-growing fintech company helping businesses prevent fraud with seamless, reliable, and secure verification solutions. Our APIs simplify identity verification, fraud detection, and compliance, ensuring businesses can operate with confidence.
Responsibilities:
As a Python Developer at BEFISC, you'll work in a dynamic R&D-driven environment to build and scale high-performance tools, with a focus on data gathering and backend systems:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements for web scraping and backend data solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and REST APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Create scalable web scraping scripts and crawlers to extract structured data from web sources.
Integrate with MongoDB or other storage solutions to manage and query large datasets efficiently.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient Python code that is tested and optimised for performance.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain Python applications on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Implement security practices to ensure safe handling of data throughout the data lifecycle.
Continuously explore emerging technologies and tools to improve processes and system capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
1–4 years of professional Python development experience.
Proven experience with Python web frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Solid experience in web scraping using tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy or Selenium.
Familiarity with database systems, especially MongoDB.
Basic front-end exposure (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
A passion for solving real-world problems through code.
Preferred Skills:
Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
Deep understanding of RESTful API design.
