We are looking for a talented and experienced Node.js Senior Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality backend services for our enterprise applications.
Job Overview:
As a Node.js Senior Developer, you will design and develop high-performance APIs and backend services using Node.js. You’ll collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product managers to build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions in a fast-paced hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
Build RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming patterns.
Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
Solid understanding of API design principles and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
Experience with databases – both SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker).
Good understanding of unit testing and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven design.
Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets is advantageous.
Work Model:
Hybrid Role: Candidates must be local to Bangalore, Chennai, or Gurgaon and willing to work in a hybrid mode (mix of remote and on-site).
