Role Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and applications.
Implement robust RESTful APIs to support various applications.
Enhance and optimize existing backend services for improved performance.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.
Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues within backend systems.
Ensure the security and data protection of applications.
Develop unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Work with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB for data storage solutions.
Write technical documentation for code and system processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Collaborate in Agile teams to enhance project cycles.
Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
Contribute to the overall architectural design of applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience of atleast 5 years as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Java, Node.js, or similar backend languages.
Experience with RESTful API development.
Proficiency in database management (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Knowledge of security protocols and data protection regulations.
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
