About the Role
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Lead Golang Developer to take ownership of backend development for mission-critical telecom systems. This is a fully remote opportunity for a highly skilled coder who can design, build, and lead robust, scalable solutions powering modern telecommunications infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and driving the technical execution of high-impact projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead backend development efforts using Golang, focusing on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Architect and implement scalable microservices for telecom platforms.
Collaborate with engineers, DevOps, and architects to deliver real-time, high-throughput systems.
Drive backend performance, reliability, and uptime in production environments.
Mentor developers and enforce best practices for coding, architecture, and system design.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and decision-making.
Contribute to roadmap planning and system optimization initiatives.
Requirements:
10+ years of professional software development experience.
At least 8+ years of hands-on experience with Golang in production environments.
Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
Proficient in building and scaling REST/gRPC APIs and event-driven architectures.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of telecom systems or platforms (nice to have).
