Role :Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer
YOE: 4 +
Notice Period : Immediate to 2 Weeks
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using automation and declarative configuration tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, or similar IaC technologies, along with expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, AWS CloudFormation, Bicep).
Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and management across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and governance through policy-as-code solutions (e.g., Sentinel, OPA, or AWS SCP).
Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to streamline deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spacelift).
Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability through cloud monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
Implement GitOps methodologies for managing infrastructure changes in version-controlled repositories.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Write and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure design, automation scripts, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, Bash).
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration best practices.
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with IaC workflows.
Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, encryption, network security).
Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and cloud architecture patterns.
Experience with state management and remote backends for Terraform/OpenTofu.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Crossplane, CDKTF, or Kubernetes-native IaC tools.
Knowledge of Spacelift, Env0, or Scalr for Terraform governance.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
