About the Role
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Scala Developers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Scala programming and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems. This is a work-from-office position with location flexibility between Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Scala.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to address them.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and other quality assurance activities.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Scala and functional programming.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Scala.
Proficient understanding of functional programming concepts.
Experience with frameworks like Akka, Play, or similar Scala-based frameworks.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
