Engineering Communication:
The Tejas platform development team plays a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and verifying Board Support Packages (BSP), SDK development and configurations, kernel protocol stack for Tejas Systems. Currently, the team is focused on enhancing the performance, security, and overall capabilities of systems already deployed in commercial networks. As part of the platform development team, you will be involved in shaping the future of networking technology by contributing to innovative solutions that ensure high performance and security standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain CICD pipeline for multiple platforms across multiple branches/release streams
Build systems and automation for continuous monitoring and proactive steps for build systems & smooth running of CICD without interruption
Own Make files with best practices and optimal compilation time across platforms/branches
Own delivery of releases with all artifacts like SW images, generated files, docs, etc. to verification team
Capture and publish telemetry of all relevant dev operations periodically
Mandatory skills:
BE/B.Tech./MTech. (EC/EE/CS) Degree with 8+ yrs Experience.
Experience in end-end development operations in Linux environment for Embedded Software repositories, working with multiple branches & platforms simultaneously
Hands on experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CICD) using standard tools like Jenkins, Gerrit, etc.
Should have clear understanding of best practices & procedures of dev ops like configuration management systems in a distributed environment, multiple cross compilers, branching & merging, release etc.
Must have expertise in creation, maintenance & best practices for Make files in the code repository, should own Make files in SW code repository
Understanding of various object file formats and building process
Should have excellent understanding and managing to CM tools like GIT, CVS and tools like Jenkins, Bugzilla, JIRA
Should be good in scripting using Python/Perl and automating tasks
Experience in using static code analyzer to find potential security threats, create & publish reports as part of compilation
Desired skills:
Good to have experience in measuring code coverage
Good to have working knowledge on graph database
Good to have experience in building dashboards, database & web programming skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: 8 to 13 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or any other equivalent degree
