About the Role
🚀 WhatsApp Business API – Technical Onboarding Intern
📍 Location: Hybrid (Mumbai-based) | 🗓️ Start Date: 1st July 2025
🧪 Duration: 2 Months | 💰 Stipend: ₹10,000/month | 🎯 Project-Based Internship
Walrus, a Meta-recognized Tech Service Provider (TSP), is offering a 2-month project internship for technically inclined candidates eager to work hands-on with the WhatsApp Business API (WABA). You’ll support the technical onboarding of real clients and gain firsthand exposure to how businesses integrate with Meta’s messaging platform.
🛠️ What You’ll Work On
Assist in onboarding clients to Meta’s WhatsApp Business API (Cloud API preferred)
Configure phone numbers, domains, 2FA, DNS, and verify business identities
Work inside Meta Business Manager and WhatsApp Manager to manage WABA accounts
Help set up callback URLs, webhooks, and basic automation rules
Support QA/testing of messaging flows and troubleshoot integration issues
Document onboarding steps for audit and internal use
🔧 You Should Know
Basics of WhatsApp Business Platform (e.g., templates, opt-ins, Cloud API basics)
Comfort with APIs, authentication tokens, and webhook concepts
Basic understanding of DNS, phone number hosting, and cloud tools
Good communication and process-oriented thinking

Are pursuing/completed a degree in CS, IT, or a related technical stream
Want to work at the intersection of platforms, infra, and customer onboarding
