About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer (Python) with 4+ years of experience, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side logic and APIs. You will play a crucial role in connecting our applications to data sources, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness. The candidate should have a strong background in backend technologies, database management, and system architecture.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and RESTful APIs.
Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security.
Implement data storage solutions and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Work with cross-functional teams, including Android/iOS developers and QA, to deliver high-quality products.
Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring ongoing module maintenance and functionality.
Contribute to the development of software architecture.
Integrate third-party services and APIs.
Troubleshoot and debug backend issues.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python
Experience with databases such as MySQL.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
1-2+ years working with AWS serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, SNS).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to work in a remote team environment.
Experience in full-stack development is a plus.
Additional Skills:
Experience with GraphQL and Redis.
Knowledge of message queues and background task processing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
