About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Junior Android Developer to join our mobile development team. As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with senior developers and designers to build high-quality mobile applications that deliver excellent user experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Android applications.
Work with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Fix bugs and performance issues as needed.
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
Requirements
Solid understanding of Java or Kotlin and Android SDK.
Basic knowledge of Android components: Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers.
Familiarity with Android Studio, Git, and debugging tools.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles and mobile responsive design.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to Have
Experience with Firebase, Room DB, or Jetpack components.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Portfolio of personal or academic Android projects on GitHub.
