About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Node.js, Express.js, and SQL databases, and will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs.Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Write clean, modular, and efficient server-side code.
Integrate with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and write optimized queries.
Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
Hands-on experience with SQL databases and writing complex queries.
Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
Understanding of authentication methods (JWT, OAuth) and security best practices.
Experience with version control (Git).
Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with ORMs like Sequelize or TypeORM.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.).
Exposure to Docker or containerized environments.
