About the Role
We’re hiring a KDB+ Engineer for a leading global business focused on data analytics and data science services, particularly focusing on complex data challenges within the financial sector. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment, helping to build scalable, reliable test automation systems that play a critical role in complex international operations.
This is a permanent, full-time, remote role, ideal for someone who thrives on building high-performance time-series applications in kdb+ and enjoys collaborating closely with financial services clients to deliver robust, data-driven solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Collaboration - Partner with project managers and financial services clients to define and implement custom kdb+ solutions.
Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance time-series applications using kdb+ and q.
System Integration - Ensure smooth integration of kdb+ solutions within clients’ existing data infrastructure.
Production Support - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems with minimal downtime.
Continuous Improvement - Stay updated on kdb+ advancements and contribute to performance and scalability enhancements.
