About the Role
Job Title - Backend Developer (Go, Python) (multiple requirements)
Job Location - Pune, Maharashtra
The Opportunity
As a Senior / Backend Engineer, you'll be joining as a founding engineer, helping shape not just the product but the future of AI-driven Site Reliability Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of GenAI and SRE, building solutions that transform how engineering teams operate.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable backend systems for our AI SRE platform
Own and drive complex features from concept to production, working directly with customers
Collaborate closely with our founding team to shape product direction and technical architecture
Contribute to core backend and systems engineering initiatives
Help establish engineering best practices and technical standards
Participate in customer interactions to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Required Qualifications
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design principles
Proven experience in designing and implementing complex backend systems at scale
Expert-level proficiency in either Go or Python (C/C++ ok too)
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native technologies
Demonstrated ability to convert customer requirements into technical specifications
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Year of experience: number of years does not necessarily reflect the engineer’s caliber, but we typically find these skillsets in the 3-6 years of experience range.
Essential Skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a bias for action
Strong communication skills and ability to maintain high-bandwidth collaboration
Quick decision-making capabilities with a "fail fast and iterate" mindset
Self-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Attention to detail and commitment to code quality
Nice to haves
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
Familiarity with automation and observability tools
Familiarity with Vector DB and RAG Pipelines
