Senior Web Analyst
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Analyst to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of web analytics, data interpretation, and reporting. You will be responsible for analyzing website performance, user behavior, and digital marketing effectiveness to provide insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, SQL, and mobile app measurement tools such as Firebase and MMPs like AppsFlyer, along with a strong understanding of web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage web analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tracking tools.
Analyze website traffic, user journeys, and conversion funnels using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio and other BI tools.
Collaborate with marketing and development teams to optimize digital campaigns and website performance.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
Work with SQL and BigQuery to extract and manipulate large datasets.
Support A/B testing initiatives by setting up tracking and analyzing results.
Ensure data accuracy by regularly auditing analytics setups and troubleshooting tracking issues.
Implement and analyze mobile app measurement using tools such as Firebase and MMPs (e.g., Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch) to track app performance and user engagement.
Stay up to date with industry trends, new analytics tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
4-5 years of experience in web analytics, preferably in a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
Expertise in GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and report automation.
Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript and APIs for advanced tracking implementation.
Experience in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Experience with BigQuery or other cloud-based data platforms.
Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or related tools.
Experience with mobile app analytics and tracking using Firebase, Appsflyer, or similar tools.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Adobe Analytics stack is a big plus.
