About the Role
Position: Freelance AI Engineer
Location: Pune (Remote/Hybrid)
Engagement: Contract (project-based, renewable), 20–30 hours/week

About
We deliver agentic AI workflows that automate complex operations and optimise costs for MSME and enterprise clients across Europe and India. You’ll join a small, agile team on a project basis, helping to prototype and deploy AI-driven workflows. This is an ideal opportunity for a Python-savvy developer experienced in object-oriented design, keen to deepen skills in prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and no-/low-code automation.
Responsibilities
Prototype AI agents using Python, chain-of-thought/tree-of-thought frameworks and OOP principles
Integrate LLMs (GPT-4, GPT-4o, Ollama 3.1) into retrieval-augmented workflows
Develop connectors and automation scripts in Logic Apps, Power Automate or similar platforms
Build and consume complex composite APIs to orchestrate multi-service workflows
Collaborate on data ingestion, transformation and orchestration for end-to-end solutions
Write clear, maintainable code, tests and concise technical documentation
Participate in sprint planning and code reviews, offering constructive feedback
Required Skills
3–5 years’ software development experience with solid OOP (Python preferred)
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering and LLM integration
Hands-on with RAG or similar retrieval-augmented frameworks
Experience building and consuming complex composite APIs
Experience in building chatbots or AI agents using custom or out-of-box LLMs
Experience with no-/low-code automation tools (Logic Apps, Power Automate)
Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking and communication skills
Self-starter mindset, able to manage time and deliverables independently
Desirable
Hands-on web or mobile development experience
Familiarity with cloud-native services (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
Understanding of data privacy and compliance best practices (GDPR, ISO 27001)
