About the Role
About Us:
We’re Converse AI - a fast-growing AI automation company based in Australia. We build smart, AI-driven systems to automate business workflows. From voice agents to custom backend integrations, we're building projects across multiple industries.
What We’re Looking For:
We're hiring someone who’s built at least 2–3 real projects using platforms like Make.com or N8N - even if they were for freelance gigs or self-initiated experiments. If you’ve shipped working automations, can debug scenarios, and can show your past work, you’re who we want.
This is a paid project-based or part-time role, with commissions on successful client deliveries. If you prove yourself, we’ll move into a base + commission model.
What You’ll Do:
Build, test, and deliver backend automations using Make.com or N8N.
Read API docs, set up webhooks, handle dynamic data (JSON), and troubleshoot flows.
Work on real projects using tools like Vapi, LangChain, Google Calendar, and CRMs.
Collaborate directly with the founder to ship client solutions fast.
Must-Haves:
2–3 projects already completed using Make.com or N8N (you’ll be asked to show this).
Comfortable with API integrations, webhooks, HTTP modules, and parsing data.
Able to figure things out even if docs are unclear or incomplete.
Self-driven and responsive - you know how to research, test, and solve.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with Zapier, LangChain, OpenAI, or AI workflows.
Any experience working with Vapi or similar voice agent tools.
Understanding business needs and turning them into working systems.
Compensation:
Commission per project during trial phase.
Later: base salary + commission based on performance and contribution.
