About the Role
Job Title: Principal Systems Engineer/Manager
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (hybrid 3 days onsite)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Principal Systems Engineer/Manager to lead and support real-time trading systems using FIX and SWIFT technologies. This role involves system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, automation, and ongoing support in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain FIX (Appia, QuickFIX) and SWIFT Alliance products.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and support production environments.
Analyze performance and suggest improvements.
Develop shell scripts (bash, perl) and automate tasks.
Provide weekend on-call and Disaster Recovery support.
Maintain system documentation and handle risk management.
Use tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Ansible for project management.
Manage incident resolution, capacity planning, and automation solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of relevant experience.
Expertise in Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance.
Strong problem-solving skills in real-time trading systems.
Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
Experience with automation and distributed environments.
Basic knowledge of AWS.
Excellent multitasking, analytical, and communication skills.
