About the Role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS), and modern DevOps practices to support scalable, secure, and highly available applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD across multiple environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, container builds, and Helm charts.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of cloud resources.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release cycles.
Ensure security best practices and compliance policies are followed in all environments.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
Expertise in Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for IaC.
Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based applications.
Proficiency with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Strong understanding of networking, identity and access management, and security in Azure.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).
Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and secrets management (e.g., Azure Key Vault).
Knowledge of GitOps, ArgoCD, or Flux.
Experience in multi-region, high-availability architecture design.
