Our client organization's mission is to empower people to participate in global conversations through communities. They are responsible for the consumer-facing application on the Web, Android, and iOS platform. In this role, you'll work with a specific team within this organization to drive related technical & product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world.
Poster Experience specifically focuses on the user journey, which is the main source of user content for the product. We aim to make it easier, faster, and smarter to create and participate in conversations, and we drive several core product metrics for the entire ecosystem.
This specific role will involve migrating legacy Python microservice code to one or more existing Go microservices. Successful candidates have prior experience in these migrations at large scale (think millions of actions per day) and understand how to instrument and monitor their code for parity and consistency during rollout.

Roles and Responsibilities:
7+ years of experience with practical, production-grade Python
Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Proven ability to build and scale large systems at high velocity
Strong fundamentals in database schema design and data modeling
Able to work at a rapid pace without sacrificing clarity or correctness
[Bonus] Familiarity with LLM function calling protocols and paradigms
