We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Software Developer to join our high-impact engineering team. If you're someone who thrives on building scalable, cloud-native apps and enjoys solving complex backend challenges with Ruby, we’d love to meet you.
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of full-stack software development experience, with a strong focus on backend and database design.
Expertise in Ruby development, ideally with experience in lightweight frameworks like Sinatra.
Proficiency with Sequel and other Ruby database libraries.
Strong grasp of SQL and relational database concepts, particularly Oracle.
Hands-on experience in Azure or GCP for cloud-based app development.
Solid experience in building and integrating web services/APIs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across geographically distributed teams.
What You'll Do:
Lead the development of high-performance backend services.
Architect, design, and build cloud-native applications.
Collaborate closely with product managers and fellow engineers across time zones.
Guide junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
