About the Role
Synopsys is seeking a software specialist with strong experience in user interface development for the QuantumATK atomic-scale simulation platform
You must have a background in scientific computing and several years’ experience building complex and powerful user interfaces for scientific applications. Ideally this includes experience with full-stack web development, UI frameworks like React or Vue, and web backend development and server-client based applications.
We are looking for outstanding individual that:
Has at least a master’s in science, computer science or related fields and strong general background in solid state physics or chemistry
Has proven experience developing user interfaces for scientific software applications.
Has a strong scientific background with clear relevance to atomic scale modelling.
Proven experience with development of complex and powerful user interfaces for scientific applications.
Requirements:
Excellent programming skills, and broad programming experience. Primarily Python and C++ but for this role it is an advantage to have experience with web technologies.
Proven interest in layouting, visual design and UI programming
6+ years of industry experience in similar domain
Great written and oral communication skills in English.
